Favorite Songs: there are so many beloved songs; this list is meant to be a bare minimum so that we all know the same songs for singalongs at Aspiration-Ground or on Joy Days.
A special section of Immortal Favorites features some of Guru’s grand old Bengali songs from the early days, with lyrics that are poetic masterpieces in themselves. These early songs are long and challenging so they are not included in the previous “songs to memorize” section but certainly would be inspiring to sing along with.
*This site is not private, however it is not the best site for members of the public. Sri Chinmoy’s most singable songs, catchy and easy to learn, are on inspiration-songs.org. Many more songs – hundreds if not thousands more – can be found on radiosrichinmoy.com, often with beautiful instrumental arrangement by his musician students, and therefore more enjoyable for listening than these simple teaching versions.
